The following brief piece was written in response to a flood of challenging and heartbreaking news, pouring in and being spread abroad by our general worldwide media.

What we focus on, we get more of.

Stop focusing on guns and watching violent films, and the appetite to make and supply them will massively diminish.

Focus on what this world wants, rather than on what this world does not need or want or benefit from.

Children are being brainwashed by the media – ads, films, etc – purveying violent and obscene everything – and they can so easily become adults who only know how to act out that sort of thing. We each start out somewhere and giving our children full frontal violence and ad exposure to all things rough is ridiculous.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” [Proverbs 22 vs 6]

Evil always has and always will be in this world we live in. We can choose, instead, to focus on the good that we wish to make more of.

Don’t depress yourself; find ways to lift yourself and others up. Switch off the negative media and stick to loving those you’re lucky enough to have in your life … look at Nature and draw strength from the endurance that is there too.

There is no other way to freeze evil except to freeze it.

Do what is necessary, do what is important, do what is good and right … and keep focusing back onto what you wish to see in this one precious life that we each have.

Life is short. Don’t waste a moment of it, being controlled by anyone or anything out there that pulls you down. Claim life and make it beautiful ~ at least in your sphere of influence, where it is most needed.

Keep believing that we each have beauty inside us and never, ever give up believing that we can have a beautiful world.
