Blessed To Be Taught By Jim Rohn

Lately I have been thinking quite a lot about how incredibly fortunate I was to be mentored by Jim Rohn.

Several times in the 1980s I sat wrapt, absorbing all I could in his seminars, taking copious notes. Happily I still have two photos to show that I was there … pictured with this article is one of them.

My notes from those seminars, sadly, were casualties of a difficult time, when I was about to be ‘homeless’ and stupidly put most of the letters and paperwork from my treasured collection of memories etc, stored in a silver-painted trunk, into a black refuse bag to be taken to the tip, in early 1990.

Two years later I was in Australia, having landed there at 48 hours’ notice, by which time I had all but forgotten about personal development.

Bitter sweet memories.

Stay mindful and remember, something I heard Jim Rohn say over and over again, no matter the audience:

“For things to change, you have to change. For things to get better, you have to get better.” ~ Jim Rohn

Let’s do that!

Mindfully,
