In a slight departure from the ‘norm’ today I wrote lyrics for a rap song! It is a type of poem, I suppose one could say! It seemed to write itself.

What’s on your plate?

Elevate the things around you
Elevate the people who surround you.

You wanna elevate the vibe around you
You wanna elevate the vibe inside you
You wanna elevate and elevate and elevate
You wanna elevate until the ground lifts you beyond you
You wanna elevate the people who surround you
You wanna elevate your state and shoot your thoughts up to the skies
You wanna imagine a glorious paradise!
Smile, man, ‘cos life’s not all bad
Smile, child, ‘cos you’ve got your whole life to create and thrive in
Smile, woman, ‘cos you have the secrets to life and love within you
Smile, friends, you gotta smile to elevate!!
