Dear Readers, A Catch Up It has been a while since I wrote one of my 'chatty' posts and so I thought it was time to have a catch up ~ this time, a newsletter of sorts. With Spring, in the northern hemisphere, came a sudden rush of visible activity outdoors - leaves popping … Continue reading May Catching Up With April ~ A Newsletter

Authenticity Is A Key
What if I told you that authenticity is a key to a sustainable lifestyle and that being the real, most loving You is what helps others the most? I once cracked under the strain of trying to meet others' demands and expectations, in some cases people who had never ever gone beyond their own comfort zones in … Continue reading Authenticity Is A Key
An Accidental Writer
I am an Accidental Writer. Since childhood, I have scribbled, shared, and taught out of what I've learnt. Never ever did I intend to be "A Writer" ... not consciously anyway ... although many encouraged me to get some story down in books. This is yet to be acquiesced to and I'm sure will … Continue reading An Accidental Writer
Why Do I Write ~ Revisited
Asked: “Why Do You Write?” Answer: “I write because I can’t draw … No, that is not entirely true. I write because it is the music I make without a keyboard with sounds. I write because I have written since I was a little girl, learning to spell, standing in line to have … Continue reading Why Do I Write ~ Revisited

Being A Blogger Is A Process
Dear Readers,
This is a little technical experiment in ‘reblogging’ a previously published post. The original post was written and published on The Holly Tree Tales on 23 February 2017. It was early in January 2015, the first to be precise, when I gathered my two children together at my computer, in order to consult them where possible, and set off cautiously into the jungle that has been my complicated technical process of setting up and managing this website.
For many years I had been told, by all sorts of people, that I ought to write my story, communicate my philosophical thoughts, share about my experiences through childhood, describe my journeys in new places, reveal my trepidatious steps through parenting my children into the great humans that they are, discuss my gardening exploration and tips, reach out by telling others about my…

Why Has WordPress Withdrawn Support?
The WordPress Daily Prompt has disappeared and some of us are mystified. Why has WordPress withdrawn support for Writers and Bloggers on the WordPress platform to quickly reach and read and encourage one another's work? This seems ludicrous, especially when one pays a Premium fee to host a website and does what one does with … Continue reading Why Has WordPress Withdrawn Support?
Introducing a Voluntary Financial Donation Facility to The Holly Tree Tales And Why
Some months ago, WordPress notified me that a new facility had been created, which would enable the owners of blogs like my own (Premium and Business themes) to add a payment button to our websites. At first I decided to 'file' that information, feeling that my technological muscles had been sufficiently challenged and that I … Continue reading Introducing a Voluntary Financial Donation Facility to The Holly Tree Tales And Why
